It’s been a week of friends and simple, tasty meals.
Monday – roasted chicken, corn on the cob and summer squash
We ate the rest of the store-bought roasted chicken tonight. Super easy: I steamed the summer squash in a bamboo steamer basket over-top the boiling corn on the cob.

What a great way to use up the leftover cream from saturday’s dessert. We make enough pasta for lunch tomorrow.
